Attend this meeting on Saturday, April 26 to learn more about starting a career in the carpentry trades union. You may qualify for a FREE four-week pre-apprentice training program with immediate work on a construction site upon successful completion of the training program.  Meet Kyle Patterson, Regional Manager, Western States Regional Council of Carpenters, and learn the following: 

• Safety-OSHA 10 Certification

• Math for the Trades

• Material and Tool Recognition

• Refinery Safety

• Intro to Interior Systems Carpentry

• Intro to Concrete Form Work

• Intro to Scaffold Erection

• Intro to Residential Carpentry

• Intro to Print Reading

This pre-apprentice training program includes attendance at a one-day mandatory assessment workshop on Saturday, May 17th plus training from May 27th through June 19th (Mondays through Thursdays, all day, for four weeks).  Transportation from the Macedonia Baptist Church to the Western States Regional Council training center in Carson, may be available or a mileage stipend may be provided.
